Solent active in the Community

Solent play an active role in the local community helping local businesses stay open, supporting good causes and helping out where we can.

With the rising cost of living year on year we fully understand that there is no such thing as spare cash which is why we help out where and when possible.

We have taken part in Wave 105’s Cash for Kids Mission for Christmas, registering as a local drop off point, helped local businesses that have been hit by burglaries or vandalism. Solent has had many coffee mornings and have supported local families in their time of need and raised money for local charities like Naomi House and Jacksplace.

Work was completed on time and efficiently. However initially a mistake was made during Solent's procurement process and one unit was supplied with clear not patterned glass, as ordered by me. This was corrected a few weeks later when new replacement unit was supplied and fitted.
